Yoga with Kat Shakti

Did you know that most of the photos of yogis you see on the Internet are of people with the so-called Hypermobility, i.e. joint laxity Hypermobility)? This is a type of disease that, among others, makes these people's joints easily able to go beyond their natural range of motion (often combined with many other symptoms), and this is why they are often drawn to yoga and dancing, and due to the fact that they are "photogenic", they mainly represent the world of yoga.

And the truth is, you don't have to be flexible or athletic to join a yoga class and experience its wonderful benefits. If you want to learn how to do splits, stand on your head and you approach yoga "competitively", then my yoga is NOT for you.

However, if you want to regulate your nervous system, gently stretch your muscles, pamper your joints, find relief from back pain and relax your mind, read on.

My yoga is gentle, sensitive and quite easy, so it is accessible to every body, no matter your size or fitness level.
In my yoga, I mainly use the Yin and Hatha style, but also the principles of biomechanics and functional training, intertwining them with elements self-love and awareness of the menstrual cycle and how it affects yoga practice.

All my classes are aimed at beginners and intermediate people, I usually give several options to ease or intensify the sensations in the positions, depending on willingness and experience.

Yoga is a wonderful tool that teaches you how to use your body better, how to be more understanding and accepting of its limitations, and I show you what a wonderful gift of nature/Creator your body is.
